Elliot,

I am a very disappointed as to how much work you have posted to your blog. So far you have completed 5 posts, 3 of which need some work to improve.

All 3 of your research posts (magazine industry, publishers and case study) need some improvement. Remember to make them visually attractive as well as making sure the information is correct. The magazine industry post starts with 'the magazine industry is at its peak' - this is most certainly not true. In the 1970's, NME were selling 300,000 copies a week, now they sell less than 15,000. So it is actually quite the opposite. However, the magazine industry is changing quite dramatically and it is this that you need to get across in this post. Make sure you discuss a bit of the history of the industry as well.

Your preliminary task is not finished and you haven't uploaded you front cover and contents page and there is no analysis work, mood boards or main task survey on your blog.

Whilst I am confident that you have completed a lot of this work, it is unacceptable that it is not as yet posted to your blog. You are making things difficult for yourself and you will now have to ensure that you catch up over the Xmas holidays.

I will be checking again over the Xmas holidays and I expect to see much improvement. You must make use of the time in lessons and I don't feel that you are doing so.
